Tonic

A 30-day body-first program that shows you exactly what to do, in the right order, to
build lasting calm.

Stop piecing together techniques from books, podcasts, and YouTube. Tonic gives you one clear path to follow and a simple way to see what's actually working, so you can spend less time researching and more time actually feeling better.

Stop guessing. Get relief.

From the nervous system educator behind 592K YouTube subscribers.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

You've tried everything.
But the calm never sticks.

You've done therapy, meditation, breathwork, supplements, nervous system exercises, and enough self-help books to fill a shelf.

Some of it even helped—for a while.

You had good days. Better weeks. Moments where you thought: maybe this is finally it.

But somehow you always ended up right back where you started.

You understand your patterns.
You know your triggers.
You can explain exactly why you react the way you do.

But knowing hasn't changed how you feel.

Your nervous system is still working overtime.

You overthink simple decisions.
You wake up tired.
You can't fully relax, even when nothing is wrong.
You keep waiting for the moment when life finally feels easier.

And after everything you've tried, you're starting to wonder if maybe this is just who you are.

It isn't.

The real missing piece

Why nothing has worked before.
(And what actually does.)

You didn't fail at those techniques. You were handed random tools with no sequence, no way to tell what your body actually needed, and no way to confirm that any of it was working. So when the anxiety inevitably came back, you did the only thing you knew how to do.

You went looking for the next thing. A better breathing method. A new expert. One more video at 2 a.m. that might finally have the answer.

"I've got many tools to try, but it's hard to know what's helpful and where to focus. I wanted a practice that was very focused and practical."

— Justin

That's the trap. Not too little information, but too much, with no structure. You can't research your way out of anxiety, because anxiety doesn't live in the part of you that reads and analyzes.

It lives in the body. And the body doesn't change through understanding. It changes through doing, in the right order, with a way to feel it working.

The missing piece isn't another technique.
It's a system.

Three things, in sequence:

The Right Practices

Body-first, not another thing to think about. Sensory work that speaks directly to your nervous system.

In The Right Order

A thirty-day sequence, each practice building on the last, so your system is ready to receive what comes next instead of braced against it.

With A Way To See What's Working

A simple daily read that keeps you out of your head and in your body so you stop guessing and start deciding from your own data.

"I liked the guidance and the practices. I could do them myself but having the guidance is much nicer. Plus it helped me build a routine in the morning."

— Maitté

Do that, and something shifts.

Your nervous system stops needing you to manage it. It learns to return to calm on its own, faster each time.

Deeper than a state.Calm becomes a skill your body keeps.

The approach

Attention.
Not Effort.

The nervous system changes through experience, not information. You can understand   anxiety perfectly — name it, trace its origins, explain it to someone else — and still feel exactly the same.

Understanding it doesn't resolve it. In order to actually change things, you have to give the nervous system new experiences to draw from.

Tonic is rooted in neurosensory practice: slow, deliberate attention to physical sensation.

This isn't exercise. Nor another thing to perfect.

The practices are deceptive in their simplicity. They ask almost nothing of you in terms of effort. But what they give you is the space to show up inside them — so you actually feel what you're doing while you're doing it.

"The practices calm me immediately. I notice always a shift with every video in a positive direction, even if it's subtle."

— JL

This is a simple approach, but profound in effect. When your nervous system receives repeated experiences of safety and presence, it begins--slowly--to update its map.

The goal isn't the opposite of anxiety. It isn't relentless positivity or some version of bliss. It's expanded capacity to be present in your own life. To feel what's actually happening. To inhabit your days rather than manage them from a slight distance.

From the outside, your life might not change that much. It may look more or less the same. But the internal experience of it becomes wildly different because the change is you, present--finally.

It's smaller than transformation and more durable than relief.

The program

What Tonic includes

Tonic is thirty days of daily neurosensory practice, built for the kind of life you actually have — not the one you'd have if you had three uninterrupted hours every morning.

"After about day 4 I thought, 'if this was over right now and I never had access to the course again it would have been worth the price of admission.'" — RC
Tonic program — video practices, Field Journal, and Field Tracker
30 Daily Practices

Video-guided neurosensory sessions, approximately 20 minutes each. Slow, deliberate, accessible. No prior experience needed.

Field Journal

A written companion that guides your observation between sessions — what you're noticing, what's shifting, what's staying the same.

Field Tracker

A simple daily tracking tool to help you stay oriented to your own experience across the thirty days.

Lifetime Access

All materials are yours to keep and return to. The practices compound over time — many people find the second pass through the program lands differently than the first.

Real people. Real results.

"After following the Tonic program, I am the most hopeful I have ever been that I have found a safe and effective way to work with my body/mind to recognize and work with anxiety and fear. I have less worry and anxiety. I have not woken in the night with the "worry loop". Physically I feel I am more 'in my body.' Sometimes I just catch myself realizing I can relax in this moment."

— virginia T.

"I have suffered from constant, soul crushing, life altering anxiety my entire adult life, 30 years of that. I found this course while desperately searching for anything that might help. The amount of relief and optimism this has brought to my life is a game changer. I feel truly grounded for the first time."

— RC

"I am more conscious about my body and feelings more and more every day. My anxiety that has been extreme is slowly losing its grip on me. I am aware of more subtle shifts. I feel more balanced in body and mind. I even feel joy without any particular reason."

— Elisabet
The shape of a life

Making the pose.
Not feeling the shape.

I spent years observing the pattern before I could name it. It came to me in a yoga class.

Some students were technically flawless with precise alignment and beautiful movement.

But something was missing.

They were making the pose perfectly. But they weren't inhabiting it.

There was no aliveness inside the shape they were creating—no feeling it, sensing it, inhabiting it. They were just going through the motions. And the pose became an empty outline of a person with no one home to experience it.

After I realized this, I started seeing the same pattern everywhere. Not just in yoga, but also in life.

Maybe you've had moments like this. You're with people you love, but your mind is somewhere else.

You finally take the vacation you've been anticipating for months, but find you can't relax and enjoy yourself.

Someone takes a photo of you laughing, and later you realize: "I look happy there. But I don't remember feeling happy."

The days pass by: Birthdays. Coffee chats. Mornings with your cat on your lap.

Ordinary Tuesdays that, one day, you'll realize were your life.

You were there. But you weren't fully there.

That's the true cost of anxiety. Not just the racing thoughts at night or the knot in your stomach every morning. It's the life that slips past while you're too busy just getting through the days to fully inhabit it.

The version of you sitting on a porch at eighty won't think much about the anxiety itself.

She'll remember the moments she was there for, but not fully present to experience.

The stakes are higher than just feeling better day to day, a calmer baseline. It's what that calmer baseline gives you:

A life you were actually there to live.

"A kinder feeling towards myself and my body. Coming in contact with a part of me that is more honest, more real, more true. A deeper sense of aliveness that has been suppressed under the anxiety."

— Emelie Cajsdotter

Your guide

Sukie Baxter

For more than twenty years, I've been unraveling the stories held in bodies—human and equine. I started with structural bodywork and spent fifteen years in clinical practice feeling stress patterns unwind under my hands.

What I kept noticing was that the people who changed the most weren't the ones who tried the hardest or pushed through the most. They were the ones who learned to feel what was happening in their bodies, to develop a working relationship with their own sensory experience.

Tonic emerged from that observation. It's built on the foundation of fifteen years of hands-on practice, extensive study in neuroscience and somatic education, and my own experience of learning — slowly, imperfectly — what it means to unravel the stress patterns in my body.

I'm not interested in the version of this work that looks good. I'm interested in the version that works.

Is Tonic right for you

A few honest filters

Tonic might be a great fit if…

  • You've tried therapy, meditation, apps, supplements, but the calm still never sticks
  • You understand your anxiety inside and out, but understanding hasn't changed how your body feels
  • You're tired of piecing together techniques and want one clear path to follow
  • You want to know whether what you're doing is actually working, instead of guessing
  • You can carve out roughly 20 minutes a day for thirty days
  • You're drawn to practices that are quiet and gradual rather than intense or cathartic

Tonic is probably not for you if…

  • You're in active crisis or need urgent clinical support
  • You're looking for a quick fix or a single technique that solves it overnight
  • You want someone to tell you when you're "healed" rather than build the skill yourself
  • You're hoping Tonic will replace therapy — it won't
  • You need high intensity to feel like something's working
  • You're not ready to go gently, even for twenty minutes

Tonic is an educational program, not a clinical treatment. It is not appropriate for — and is not a substitute for treatment of — PTSD, panic disorder, or any clinical diagnosis. If you are working with a mental health professional, please continue that work. Tonic can often complement clinical care, but it does not replace it. If you're unsure whether Tonic is appropriate for your situation, please consult your provider before enrolling.

The real cost

What has anxiety cost you?

The therapy copays. The courses. The supplements that promised the world. The apps you're still being charged for.

But also the time.

The years. The countless hours poured into research that left you more overwhelmed than when you started.

And most of all, presence.

Being absent from your life, distant in your relationships. The irritability, the isolation, the sense that life is happening without you in it.

Tonic is one payment. You keep it for life, and you can return to it as many times as you need.

"I've spent a lot more on a lot less, many times. Tonic has been the single most effective thing I've ever done in 25 years of searching about."

— Derek M.

This costs less than a few sessions of the things that gave only fleeting relief. And unlike those, it's built to keep working long after the thirty days are done.

Questions

A few things people ask.

Once you enroll, you'll receive immediate access to all thirty video practices, the Field Journal, and the Field Tracker. The practices are designed to be done in sequence, one per day, though life happens — if you miss a day, you pick up where you left off.

Each practice is approximately 20 minutes. The Field Journal and Tracker add another 5-10 minutes if you engage with them fully. That's a realistic 30 minutes per day — though some people find they want more time to sit with what arises, and others move straight into their day.

It means practices that direct deliberate attention to physical sensation — not visualizations, not breathwork in the performance sense, not yoga or exercise. The practices are slow and precise. They work by building the nervous system's capacity to sense itself, which turns out to be a very different thing from thinking about sensing yourself.

Most types of meditation turn your attention inward and lets thoughts float by. Some forms even teach you to dissociate from physical sensations the same way. That can be a valuable skill. It just isn't what this is.

Here, you drop awareness into the body and change the sensory input going into your nervous system — your eyes taking in the room, the felt sense of your surroundings, your body locating itself in space — so your brain receives new safety data and down-regulates on its own. The instrument is the body, changing the mind from below.

The difference matters because asking an anxious nervous system to sit still and observe its own thoughts is hard. For some people it's the hardest thing there is, and it can wind them up further. Neurosensory practices don't ask that of you. Instead of managing your attention, you feed your nervous system novel sensory information and let it settle on its own. You change what your body perceives, and everything downstream follows.

Over time, that restores what I call nervous system organization: the ability to shift into calm on your own, without manually talking yourself down every time stress hits. Your system returns to baseline automatically, the way it was designed to.

Both have their place, they just work differently.

No. Tonic is designed to be accessible regardless of background. The practices build on each other, and the Field Journal helps orient you along the way. If you have prior experience with somatic or body-based work, you'll likely find it deepens what you already know.

Yes — and many people find that somatic work complements their existing therapeutic relationship well. If you have any concerns about whether Tonic is appropriate for your specific situation, please check with your provider before enrolling.

Yes, though probably not the way you'd expect. The instinct is to go at the thought to analyze it, argue with it, or try to logic your way to the other side. But engaging a strongly charged thought activates your survival response, and an activated nervous system can't take in much of anything. You end up more anxious, not less.

Rather than working the thought directly, you restore regulation first and as your system settles, these thoughts start to lose their grip on their own.

It may be counterintuitive, but sometimes the way through something is actually around it.

There are no refunds. Because you receive lifetime access to all materials immediately upon enrollment, I'm not able to offer returns. Please read the fit filters carefully before enrolling, and reach out with any questions beforehand to info@sukiebaxter.com.

You keep everything. The practices, the journal, the tracker — all of it is yours permanently. Many people find the second time through the program lands differently. The three months of Q&A access continues after the thirty days, giving you space to integrate and ask questions as things settle.

It's time to feel like yourself again.
